ABOUT THE COVER

The 7520 is the largest New Generation Tractor. This splendid example, in its final stages of being fully restored, is owned by Norris Fuchs of Texas. It is currently in Bob Herring’s care, an Eastern Iowa farmer, and the tractor was there when the cover photo of the 4050 Hi-Crop was taken for the November–December 2019 issue. Bob said that Norris is planning on putting the 7520 back to work!
The 4WD 7020 and 7520 Tractors are featured in this issue. These were the first 4-wheel-drive tractors entirely engineered and manufactured by John Deere, and they certainly have a well-deserved place in the company’s product history.
