Two-Cylinder XVIII
The 18th Exposition
JUNE 19, 20 & 21, 2008 • NATIONAL CATTLE CONGRESS GROUNDS
WATERLOO, IOWA
“The World’s Finest Display of Restored Vintage John Deere Tractors”
• Applications for Exhibitors and Swap Meet Vendors are available now. Phone, fax, write, or E-mail the Club office to obtain what you need.
• The usual Auction is being suspended this year in favor of an under-roof Tractor Sale, a fine
opportunity for tractor sellers and buyers to make personal and private deals at their own pace and with no commission fee. Thousands of potential buyers will be at the sale.
SELLERS: Contact the Club office about applications — about 80 spaces available.
• Just a few seminars (not enough to detract from viewing the exhibits)
-
Ford Baldwin — The “Rice Doctor” provides straight talk about LP Tractors.
-
Jim Lorenzen — The retired, multi-certified service expert takes your questions about “Numbered” Two-Cylinder and New Generation Tractors.
-
J.R. Hobbs and Jack Cherry — An open, informal visit about most anything. Attendees will pick the subjects and set the tempo.

The Special Award Toy (left) and The Expo XVIII Show Toy
The 1:16 Scale “430” LP Hi-Crop Tractor: The Special Award Toy, awarded to Swap Meet Vendors and to Exhibitors for each qualifying exhibit, is the 1960 version with specific options and detailing that sets it apart from the 1959 version that serves as the Show Toy. Show Toys are available for order; see Inside Front Cover.
(The examples shown are prototypes; minor detail tweaking is being made prior to production.)
